How much is admission?
All Summer Movies in the Park are FREE. Some sites do charge for parking so check the event details on our website for the movie you plan to attend.
Your schedule says that movies start at âduskâ. What time is dusk?
Dusk is approximately 15 minutes after sunset. We canât specify the exact time as that will change with the season, and on-site conditions might also affect the overarching event program. Please check to see what time sunset is on the date of the event you plan to attend.
What time should I arrive?
We encourage you to come early so you can enjoy the park before sunset. Some locations will have games, booths and food trucks, and all offer unique opportunities to connect with other families in the area. Details for pre-movie fun are included in each movieâs description.
Is smoking allowed?
All movie events are smoke-free. That includes tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaporizing products. Thank you for your cooperation.
Can I bring my dog?
Many parks allow dogs as long as they remain on leash. Rules are typically listed on community boards or kiosk signs â but you may also call to confirm. Always keep a close eye and clean up after your pet.
What should I bring?
Plan to bring chairs or blankets for your comfort. Chairs are not provided at any of our events. Also, feel free to pack a picnic and enjoy your meal under the stars! Some locations will have food available, so check the Event Specifics section of each location and date for more details. Bring a sweater or light jacket â it will cool down once the sun sets.
Where can I park?
Most locations have ample parking or quick access to public transportation. We encourage you to check the Event Specifics section of the movie you plan to attend to see if there are any specific notes on parking.
Is there food / popcorn available at the events?
It depends. Some events will have food and concessions available for purchase. Some will have food trucks and some will not have food available. Please check the Event Specifics section of the event you plan to attend.
What if it rains?
In the event of rain or high winds a movie may be canceled. If it rains on the day of the movie youâre planning to attend, please contact the Parks & Recreation office to get up-to-date information on possible cancellations. Contact information for each location is in the Event Specifics section of each scheduled movie.
